1Haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, built-in microphone may require USB connection and are available when supported by game. Slice into the action of ‘Marvel’s Wolverine,’ launching on PS5 in Fall 2026. In Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC with ray reconstruction enabled, we see more detailed ray-traced reflections and better-defined ray-traced shadows, especially when viewing raytracing effects at steep angles.
On the Eastern side of it is a (relatively) small building that’s on an angle compared to the buildings around it. Near where the train tracks stop (on the map screen, at least), look for a building under construction with a yellow crane over it. Head to the Eastern side of the building and get to the top of the yellow-netted scaffolding to find the Spider-Bot. Head for the North-Eastern corner of the plaza and look for the building wall with a vertical mural, depicting a cat on the bottom, a book in the middle, and a woman at the top. The game will be available for purchase on Steam and the Epic Games Store. Save big on Death Stranding 2, God of War Ragnarok, The Last of Us series, Insomniac’s Spider-Man games, and more PS5 hits during Prime Big Deal Days.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is confirmed to be a PS5 exclusive, and fans will not be able to play the superhero game on previous-gen hardware or on any rival platforms at launch. PlayStation detailed the game’s system requirements on PC in a trailer and accompanying blog post. In addition to features like ray tracing and ultrawide monitor support, the PC version will also allow integrated use of the PS5’s DualSense controllers. Given that Insomniac’s Spider-Man games are among the few that have truly made use of the PS5’s advanced haptics, you’ll definitely want to use one of those controllers if you’re able to. Originally released on PlayStation 5 in October 2023, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the third game in the series, pairing together the protagonists from both previous entries (Peter Parker and Miles Morales) as they take on Venom and Kraven.
They are two of the greatest Spider-Man villains, but they’ll need a good supporting cast to back them up. Or else they’ll have to rely on characters like Big Wheel and Big Man. This game falls into the most common pitfall of big open world games. There are so few important landmarks in this version of New York City that the game could’ve taken place in a regular town and felt no different.
On the whole it’s a tried and true set-up for a Spider-Man story—the perils of leading a double life, making sacrifices to do the right thing, all that jazz. But that does also mean it’s a story we’ve seen an awful lot of times before, not only across films, TV, and comics, but also in the previous two games in this series. Each game in the series has a main villain that is set up early in the game, and persists to the end.
If the hit doesn’t kill the enemy it won’t count towards the trophy. It’s best to weaken the enemies beforehand, or focus on enemies that die in one hit, or spam all abilities in quick succession to wipe out bigger groups. They are unlocked automatically from story progress (unmissable) and by buying them from Peter’s skill tree. It’s also advisable to buy the upgrades from Peter’s skill tree that improve these abilities. All abilities have a timed recharge that refills automatically over time.
Districts Overview (all 14 Districts)
The best thing MJ contributes to this game is when she turns into Scream. TR88 vents her frustrations with herself and Peter in a way that shows she isn’t this perfect paragon she’s presented as the rest of the time. Lean into that and show that she’s just as flawed as the main two heroes, and more people might actually start to like her. It brings you closer to that Batman feeling of utterly dominating nameless thugs with your combat prowess. And the way both characters’ powers grow over the course of the story are very satisfying.
Marvel’s Spider-man: Miles Morales
Especially with the added personal connection between Spider-Man and Venom, really highlighting Venom as the dark mirror of Peter. Hopes were high when the teasers at the end of both Spider-Man and Miles Morales teased the arrival of Venom. And, thankfully, it’s the only part of the story they actually did well.
Alternatively, it can also be done in Crimes as they keep spawning infinitely after the story. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is due to release on January 30 for PC, but fans are growing increasingly concerned as the critically acclaimed sequel is still not available to pre-order and has no confirmed system requirements. Developer Insomniac Games confirmed Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 would be the latest entry in the series to be making its way to PC all the way back in October 2024, but has remained oddly quiet on the topic ever since.
PC optimization has long been a tricky part of porting games, though Insomniac has worked to bring the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 up to speed, making it a valid way to play for those who may not have a PlayStation 5. The studio confirmed last year that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 would not receive any story-driven DLC content, a decision that likely came as a surprise to players, though the base game features plenty of web-slinging action for players to enjoy. That being said, Spider-Man (2018) switched perspectives between its characters from mission to mission, and this is set to continue in the sequel. The gameplay revealed so far showed that players will be able to switch webheads at specific moments, allowing players to experience the story from both Peter’s and Miles’ points of view. Perhaps the Symbiote saved Harry Osborn, and he subsequently becomes the Venom in this version of the story. It’s unclear how Peter Parker gets the Venom Symbiote, but players will be able to experience him in the iconic black Symbiote suit, which seems to be affecting his personality negatively.
With the passing of Aunt May, Peter also launched the Emily-May Foundation headquarters in Greenwich to honor her memory. Regarded as one of the rowdier sides of Manhattan, Hell’s Kitchen is home to the Fisk Tower previously owned by the Kingpin himself, Wilson Fisk, as well as the dwelling of the Daredevil. Find the locations for all collectibles such as the Spider-Bots and Photo Ops, as well as all mission markers across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. There are a few cool explorable locations like the Emily-May Foundation and Coney Island, but the rest is just a blob of boring buildings. The first 75% of the game is dedicated to a mostly boring villain plot while the actual interesting plot builds in the background, occupying the last 25%. Venom isn’t around long enough either, especially for the impact they act like he had on the city, but it just about made all the waiting worth it.
